Feasibility Study Kinéis and Astrocast

Students do important research for Leap Development

Martijn and Jesse are students at the Windesheim University of Applied Sciences in Electrical Engineering. As interns, they have a very important task: a feasibility study into the development of applications by Leap Development for the Kinéis and Astrocast Satellite constellations. In other words, what is the reliability and what are the possibilities of these networks, where are the applications and what advantages does it have for Leap's customers.

Both Jesse and Martijn have a thing for wireless networks: both have a passion for antenna technology and a wonderful amazement at invisible connections. Jesse's father is a radio amateur and makes connections all over the world. The students found their way to this assignment via the business market where Leap Development is always present. "After a brainstorming session, we came up with this challenging assignment," says Jesse. They are smart guys who can easily turn to their experienced colleagues with all their questions. "We are working on a part of the future of Leap Development. That's how it feels and that's what makes this assignment so important and challenging."
