Lean Production Process

GTTSystems is the sister company of Leap Development and set up for production. GTTSystems only produces high quality - ISO9001 - advanced systems in an ESD-safe room. Due to this careful method of production and testing, the numbers are limited. That is why we wanted an optimisation of the processes. And with the help of Cor Visser, we were able to achieve that in accordance with the Lean 5S model. Such as the application of a carousel, custom-made tools, fixed locations of the tools and routing along the tests. Most of the time saved is due to the reduction in the number of movements.

All in all, we have been able to achieve 30% time savings, which means that - with the lightest variant of our products - we can now move from a maximum of 160 to 200 pieces per day.
